Executive Director
Holder of a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne and a post-graduate diploma in Management from the University of Paris - Dauphine, Alain Liva Raharijaona was Economic Counsellor of the Embassy of Madagascar in Brussels from 2007 to 2019. In the public sector, he was a non-permanent advisor to the Ministry of Trade, in charge of international trade negotiations, and a non-permanent Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, in charge of relations with the private sector. Bilingual, he has also assumed various responsibilities in the private sector: Chairman and CEO of industrial companies (Hydrauma and Feroflex) for 18 years, Coordinator of the Integrated Trade Framework Project (UNDP / World Bank / WTO), Director of FIVMPAMA, International Vice-President of the Francophone Business Forum, Vice-President of the Syndicat des Industries de Madagascar (SIM). From 2015 to 2019, he was Administrator of the FAPBM and President of the Investment Committee. He became Executive Director of the Foundation on November 18th, 2019.
Internal Control Officer
With a degree in Finance and Accounting, Evah joined the Foundation in 2017 after having worked as an external auditor in a firm and then as an internal auditor in various private companies.
Financial Officer
A graduate of INSCAE in Finance and ENAM in Public Management, Onintsoa worked at the Private Sector Support Fund (World Bank) and the Environmental Program Coordination Phase 3 (World Bank) before joining the Foundation in November 2016.
Grant Officer
A forestry engineer by training, Ranto has worked in various fields related to the environment and sustainable development. His areas of expertise range from forest governance to sustainable management of renewable natural resources, REDD+ and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) forest certification.
Communication and Advocacy Officer
Holder of a Master's degree in Marketing and Strategy from INSCAE, Roda mainly evolved in food marketing and retail industry before moving on to institutional communication for the OIF, then a major industrial group. Roda joined the Foundation in October 2020.
Head of Monitoring and Evaluation
At the Foundation since May 2015, Serge is a biologist by training and has also studied economic anthropology at SUNY Stony Brook, NY - USA. He worked for UNESCO (World Heritage Center), CARE International Madagascar and the World Bank before joining the Foundation.
Administrative Officer
Holder of a Master's degree in management control and operational audit delivered by INSCAE, she has developed a strategic expertise in elaboration of tools and regulatory texts by evolving in the administrative and financial directions of development projects (GEF, UNDP and GIZ) and public entities (National Office for the Environment (ONE), Support Service for the Management of the Environment and the project (SAGE), National Integrity Observatory of the Committee for the Safeguarding of the Integrity (CSI)).
Consultant of Lemurs Portal project
With a degree in environmental management, Lova gradually moved into environmental project management. Before joining the FAPBM, she worked at the Office National de l'Environnement (ONE) on environmental impact and assessment and the implementation of health, safety and environment (HsE) policies. She joined the FAPBM in 2019 as communications officer for the Lemurs Portal project, before taking over as project manager in 2020.
Follow-up consultant of GEF6-AMP project
A graduate of the University of Tuléar, Ely has worked for many years in the environment and sustainable development sector. Her areas of expertise are management and finance. She worked for SAGE (Service d'Appui à la Gestion de l'Environnement), the Tany Meva Foundation and UNDP before joining FAPBM in 2021
