The Malagasy Government
The Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development is the structure mainly in charge of implementing projects or programs related to biodiversity integration at the national level. The Government of Madagascar is one of FAPBM founders.
Conservation International
Conservation International supports societies so that they take charge of nature in a responsible and sustainable way for the well-being of humankind. CI is one of FAPBM founders.
KFW
The German Government, through the development bank KfW, has been the largest contributor to FAPBM’s capital since 2016. KfW is also involved in the direct financing of the Madagascar National Parks network of protected areas.
The French Government
The French Government, through a Debt Reduction and Development Contract (C2D), has made a very important contribution to the FAPBM, of which it is the second largest contributor.
L’AFD
The Agence Francaise pour le Development (AFD) has made a major contribution to FAPBM creation. AFD is continuing its contributions, the latest one was in 2020.
The World Bank
The World Bank is one of the major contributors to the Foundation’s capital. The World Bank intends to pursue its relations with FAPBM through other financing mechanisms.
FFEM
The French Facility for Global Environment (FFEM) has demonstrated its commitment by making a contribution since the creation of the FAPBM.
